Tahquitz is where the current US rock climbing grading system was first developed. Many of the routes here were groundbreaking and represented the hardest in the country at the time of their establisment. This trip, I took Brandy and Kurt on a route named "Angel's Fright." The route took two years to develop and features a chimney start, roof in the middle and a runout slab ending.
