What's up Fit Body's,
It's pretty easy to get bummed out with
this whole fitness thing, especially when
it seems like you're doing everything right.
"How come I'm not losing inches?"
"Why do I still weigh the same?"
"I'm still wearing the same clothes."
These are all valid concerns, but I have
one bit of advice to help you with this.
Stop.
It is super easy to let your negative self-talk
talk you out of getting into the best shape
of your life. So when you hear that little voice
going on and on and on and on simply say
"Thank you for sharing, but not today."
Keep this in mind. Losing inches, getting toned,
and feeling better, is not a sprint. It's more like...
a marathon
For you to be able to go the distance set mini-
milestones:
"Today I'm going to drink 1 more gulp of water"
"I will do 2 more repetitions than I normally do"
"Tonight I'll eat half of my order and take the rest home"
Take care of small things, let them accumulate
and you'll soon arrive at the HUGE thing,
which is your fitness goal.
Oh one more thing. When you do achieve
your little milestone
CELEBRATE
Make it a big deal, because if everything
"is no big deal" that's all you'll ever get.
The last time I checked, losing 40 or more
pounds, not feeling aches and pains, having
more energy, being more flexible, and feeling
more self-confident were huge life-changing
big deal things.
You ARE worth it.
So in the freezing-teeth-chattering-5:30 am
