Hi All,
Short notice, but here goes ;)
I just got the okay to join this small group running the (109km) Backbone trail this weekend. That presents a logistics challenge. So, I'm in need of a huge favor late Friday night or very early Saturday morning: a ride from Will Rogers State Park in Santa Monica, up PCH to the Ray Miller trailhead. It's a 32-mile drive.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backbone_Trail_SystemHi Brad,
Here are some details in an attached excel spreadsheet. Plan is to start between 4:45 and 5am on April 17 (Saturday) from the Ray Miller trailhead. We have four people running, you would make five. My girlfriend Elena is crewing and driving us to the start, but the car is packed and I’m sorry we cannot fit you. You will have to arrange your own transportation to the start. I don’t think you can leave a car overnight at Ray Miller. We plan to run together as a group. I’m assuming that you will be able to keep up since you seemed to have no problem at pier to peak. The approximate schedule is in the excel file but I’m not sure how accurate that will be. Elena will have water, electrolyte drink, and some food. If you want something special please bring it. She will be there at the start and can take a bag of your stuff in the crew car. Please let me know if you (still) plan to run.
Scott
