First - thank you.  SCOA traffic this month should punch through 120,000 views. Our SCOA.net presence has more visitors than our meetup presence.  We couldn't have done it without your participation and your suggestions.

Just a reminder, SCOA is all about fun and relaxing.  If you cannot attend SCOA this week or month or quarter no problem.  We are not going to remove you from the group because you are living life and working other priorities.  So please no more emails talking about how guilty you feel. :-)  When it makes sense - come play!  Until then watch us online!

At the same time, I had a former member call our emails 'Spam'.  It made me sad - you joined the group and we communicate with you what is going on.  How is that 'Spam'?  Regardless - I want to draw your attention to the Subscribe/Unsubscribe button on the bottom and top right of almost every page.  If you need to - click it.

If you have not already, create an email filter that puts SCOA and/or SCOA on meetup in a separate Adventure folder.  When you have time and want to see what is happening in So.Cal. check it out.  SCOA is an intensely dynamic group with activities from Santa Barbara to San Diego.  On average 110 events/month.

You have seen our activity calendar right?  There is a link on the top of the newsletter and also HERE.  Immediately go to the left of the page and click on your favorite category to see what is playing this month - you'll be surprised!

If you haven't seen Stephen Le's photos from Whitney get on it.  Get on it.  Amazing stuff.  They made it look so easy.  This week, they are at it AGAIN.  This time an over nighter on Mt. Baldy.  Have you every spent the night on Mt. Baldy? Saturday!

Mountain bikers are killing it this weekend - Mt. Pinos Shuttle, SART and Snow Summit this weekend. Save some energy for Chantry Flats Monday with your truly!

Finally, there is a very cool event happening in Long Beach this weekend - "Red Bull - Flugtag"  SCOA member Nicolas George will be leading Team Stealth Ginger at the event.  Show up and cheer them on!

Enjoy your weekend and keep the feedback coming feedback@scoaoutdoors.net
